What If and Puzzle

What if...

Oftentimes, people ask themselves the two word question 'what if...'

Once a person asks this, he/she begins to doubt and possibly regret the decisions made in the past which will only complicate the present and confuse the future.

I am telling this in light of the recent happening with my career. I was told a number of times that if I didn't leave and resign from my last company, I could be the one right at this very moment enjoying the flight to United Kingdom for the training. Yes, it flatters me that people and my friends think of me that way but honestly, it is an absurd idea.

It is absurd because it is baseless. Everyone is just assuming. First, when I decided to resign, there was no counter offer even a centavo to make me change my mind. Second, there was not even a possibility that I'd be transferred back to the original team I was assigned to. Lastly, no hint there will be a travel and I will be among the lucky ones.

In any angle I see it, entertaining this thought will only lead me hating my decisions and blaming myself. It is already enough that I am recognized up to now, priceless.

My friends who are travelling right now to the country I love to go to, I am very happy for them.

Life is a mysterious puzzle, each of us carry the piece to form it. One move will change the move of the other. One wrong move will make others choose the incorrect step too but one right move will align everyone...and I do believe that I made the right decision because it pave the way for others to put their pieces right.

THE PRIZE

While everyone must have been dreaming their future in their sleeps, I just got home, four in the morning. I labored 6 hours in the office finishing the manual recording system, alone. Though I know that my mind can stand the time, my body is weak enough to stay awake.

Wth this pressure going on in my career, I sense that I started to embrace, finally, my new work. Whenever I devote too much time improving the system, the process, it only means I am enjoying already.

Eventually, everyone will be able to deliver the speed and accuracy and we can stand on our own.

At the end of the day, no matter how tired you are, as long as you have the support of your team, your lead, and your friends and family, it will ease out the burden and stress you have...

MORE THAN A FACEBOOK...

Social networking has taken a big leap and brought a whole new meaning to what internet can do to connect friends, family, and different people across the globe. Gone were the days of postal snail mail, pen-pals, phone-pals and many others. Even the social networking has improved its own world, you now have Friendster (which I say is kind of outdated among the group), Twitter (where you read shouts of what’s going on to people you follow), Blog (online diary), You Tube (online channel for thousands of videos) and the most famous...Facebook.

Facebook is well known, fun to use and an all in one resource. You can post pictures, videos, play games, chat. This has overtaken other online tools thus making it more global.

With the recent typhoon that hit Philippines last week, Facebook was one of the channels used to express sympathy and help to Filipinos. It was use to call out for volunteers, prayers, spread news and alerts. Facebook is now more than a Facebook, it is now one major channel of communication and everyone knows that!

On a lighter note, Facebook is also becoming extremely popular to all ages, because of its many applications. One of which is Farmtown!

Who doesn’t know Farm now? I bet just few.

My friend Chlaus and I were chatting while working for other people’s farms and we were discussing how Farm town has influenced our lives. We did not expect it to be addicting, and both of us are on the verge of getting a free entrance to Mental Hospital (on a good note). We dared on a race to level up, embellish our respective farms and earn more coins. We harvest and plow for each other as well.

...then out of nowhere, we instantly created a drama out of Farmtown since I hired her to harvest on my farm, here is a short script. We both laughed on this! (please click on the picture for better reading)...

Having Farm Town in Facebook in our lives now is our way of enjoying, free from the stress and pressure of work, from the personal problems.
