MORE THAN A FACEBOOK...

Social networking has taken a big leap and brought a whole new meaning to what internet can do to connect friends, family, and different people across the globe. Gone were the days of postal snail mail, pen-pals, phone-pals and many others. Even the social networking has improved its own world, you now have Friendster (which I say is kind of outdated among the group), Twitter (where you read shouts of what’s going on to people you follow), Blog (online diary), You Tube (online channel for thousands of videos) and the most famous...Facebook.

Facebook is well known, fun to use and an all in one resource. You can post pictures, videos, play games, chat. This has overtaken other online tools thus making it more global.

With the recent typhoon that hit Philippines last week, Facebook was one of the channels used to express sympathy and help to Filipinos. It was use to call out for volunteers, prayers, spread news and alerts. Facebook is now more than a Facebook, it is now one major channel of communication and everyone knows that!

On a lighter note, Facebook is also becoming extremely popular to all ages, because of its many applications. One of which is Farmtown!

Who doesn’t know Farm now? I bet just few.

My friend Chlaus and I were chatting while working for other people’s farms and we were discussing how Farm town has influenced our lives. We did not expect it to be addicting, and both of us are on the verge of getting a free entrance to Mental Hospital (on a good note). We dared on a race to level up, embellish our respective farms and earn more coins. We harvest and plow for each other as well.

...then out of nowhere, we instantly created a drama out of Farmtown since I hired her to harvest on my farm, here is a short script. We both laughed on this! (please click on the picture for better reading)...

Having Farm Town in Facebook in our lives now is our way of enjoying, free from the stress and pressure of work, from the personal problems.
